In the business world, it is crucial that the translation shall be accurate and impeccable, as it often involves contracts and commitments involving large sums of money. But it is also incredibly important for technical translations to be clear and precise, because this is essential for technical specifications, descriptions of the operation of medical machines, instructions for use. There are, of course, countless other professions where linguistic accuracy and a thorough knowledge of the language and its specific terms are inevitable.
To translate a certain text may seem like a simple task to the layman, however, in fact it is not. Obviously an experienced translator with a good knowledge of languages will have no difficulty in translating a text authentically. However, experience and years in the profession determine the quality of a translation, i.e. learning and lots of practice, and this comes at a price, but it is always varying.
Many people are hesitating, and also afraid of spending money and reluctant to spend large sums on professional services. But prices can depend on many things! The prices charged by a translation agency depend on a number of factors. First, the target language, as the more commonly known languages are always less expensive, while less common ones may have higher prices. Importantly, translation from a foreign language into a foreign language also falls into a different category, but short deadlines can also cumulate the price, as can professional content too. Therefore, we at Polyglot recommend that you request an individual quote, as the final price of a translation depends on many parameters.
For both individuals and small and medium-sized businesses, accurate, professional translations are very important, and so as affordable translation prices. There are some “special” texts that need special attention, which require a certain amount of professional knowledge in addition to language skills. Such technical translations can include the translation of fire safety regulations, instructions for use, architectural plans, etc., which are quite common. A professionally trained translator will be able to “handle” these technical translations. Not to mention that technical translations are very popular these days.
All in all, a professionally skilled, precise translator who is devoted to his or her job will always produce accurate, perfect, flawless material. Whatever the text, the staff at Polyglot will always provide you a precise and impeccable translation. Our aim is to ensure that every client is satisfied with our services. Pursuant to Section 5 of MT Decree 24/1986 (VI.26.), only the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd. may prepare a certified translation, translation authentication and certified copy of a foreign language document in Hungary, unless otherwise provided by law. Our translation agency undertakes to translate the document to be certified and to have it certified by the OFFI, relieving you of the inconvenience of the procedure.
Our translation agency can provide you with an official translation using qualified translators. Once the translation has been completed, we will check and proofread the text, and then certify that the target language text is identical to the original or copy presented to us and the source language text attached to the translation. You will receive a bilingual certificate, stamped by the translation agency, which you can receive in person or, on request, we can post or courier to you. Official translations with an authentication clause can only be ordered with a batch proofreading service.
An extra fee will be charged for the authentication.
Proofreading is a form of quality assurance, by which we mean the professional, linguistic and stylistic checking of a text. Our translation agency recommends proofreading for complex technical texts, where a thorough knowledge of the subject area may be required.
In addition to proofreading our own translations, we also undertake linguistic proofreading of translations not produced by us.
